Let us design your perfect tour, based on the things you’d like to see and do. Here are some items to consider:

• Are there particular cellar doors you’d like to visit?
• Are there particular wine styles that you prefer (e.g. white, red, sparkling, fortified) or grape varieties you’d like to focus on (e.g. Semillon, Chardonnay, Verdelho, Shiraz)?
• Would you like to sample beer, cider, or spirits?
• Would you like to include a cheese or chocolate tasting?
• Do you have a particular restaurant in mind for lunch?
• Anything else? A winery tour, markets, scenic lookouts, etc.

Tell us what you’d like to experience and, time permitting, we’ll tick all your boxes.

Of course, if you prefer, you can leave everything up to us, effectively turning your bespoke tour into a mystery tour. Let us surprise you!

This tour is for lovers of history and fine wine. See some of the oldest vines in the world. Visit some of the famous wineries that pioneered the industry, all founded more than a century ago. And taste some of the best wines made in the Hunter and Australia.

The Hunter Valley is recognised worldwide as the birthplace of Australian wine. The first vines were planted around 1830 and wine production has occurred continuously since that time, making the Hunter Valley Australia’s oldest wine region.

Currently, of all wineries awarded a star rating nationally, only 163 (about 15%) achieve this rating, with just 9 in the Hunter Valley.

Coupled with premium tastings, you’ll be enjoying some of the best wines in the country.

The table below provides a quick comparison of our tours. Note that our fixed itinerary tours include tasting fees, while our Discover Broke Fordwich Tour also includes lunch. Our fixed itinerary tours are subject to cellar door availability.

A note on Bespoke Tour tasting fees:
Most venues charge for tastings. Fees range from $5-$50 per person, sometimes more, depending on the tasting experience. Some are redeemable on purchases but most aren’t. We advise all tasting fees beforehand, for your approval. We never add any markup to tasting fees.

We offer free pick up and drop off within the following localities: Aberdare, Belford, Branxton, Broke (for our Discover Broke Fordwich Tour), Cessnock, Lovedale, North Rothbury, Nulkaba, Pokolbin, and Rothbury.
For pick up and drop off outside of these localities, there may be a surcharge (we will contact you to advise).

In all cases, a $100.00 deposit is required to secure your booking.
Payment in full (including any tasting fees paid in advance, on your behalf) is due 7 days before your tour date.

Our preferred payment method is direct deposit (bank transfer). We advise bank account details at time of booking confirmation.

If you prefer to pay by credit or debit card, please let us know and we will email you an invoice.

We understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel or reschedule your tour.
If you cancel your tour 7 days or more before your tour date, all payments (less any non-recoverable expenses) will be refunded.
If you cancel your tour within 7 days of your tour date, your $100.00 deposit (plus any non-recoverable expenses) will be forfeited.
Examples of non-recoverable expenses are non-refundable tasting fees and restaurant booking cancellation fees.

If you reschedule your tour, all payments (including your $100.00 deposit), less any non-recoverable expenses, can be credited towards your future tour.
